End of School Celebration

Yay! This post is going to be short and sweet because today is the official start of summer vacation and who wants to spend it in front of a computer? I had to share our last day celebrations with you though...this kids loved it!

First, each student brought in a plain t-shirt. With a few sharpies and some rubbing alcohol, they were able to transition the shirts to this! Pretty cool huh?

This is just the start. The kids also signed each other's shirts and asked teachers to sign. It's such a great souvenir from third grade and I see older kids wearing them for years. Finally, every kid earned a special award from our class with a tee-shirt theme. Some were Tee-rrific Scientist, Tee-rrifically Funny, Tee-rrifically Responsible, etc. Every award was unique and we decorated them with the child's face and stickers before laminating them.

Finally, we called each kid down the red carpet to receive their award and a special gift (a beach ball). Of course, they couldn't just walk, they had to dance. It was hilarious! We had a parent play some music while each student did their silly dance. One kid even did the worm! It was a memory they will never forget and a great send off to summer.

Feel free to use the free t-shirt award below to celebrate with your student or download the $3.00 pack to get directions to make the t-shirt and unique awards for each student in class among other goodies :)

How do you make the last day memorable for students?

  2. What a fantastic way to cap off the school year! Celebrations like these create lasting memories. As we rejoice in these milestones, let's also remember the importance of ensuring our health remains a priority. Have you considered scheduling a Medical check-up Dubai to kick off the summer on a healthy note?
